Project Overview

MyGift Enterprise is a privately-owned, family-oriented company that was started in 1996 in a garage in Guam by Stephen Lai. Since that time, MyGift has grown tremendously from those humble roots, without losing humility.Because the coat racks on the market are too similar, they hope to develop a different kinds coat rack.

Project Objectives

   2. 2. Each hook must be disassembled.
   3. 3. Screws cannot be used in the assembly method and must be fixed by stress.
   4. 4. The hook and the shelf must be closely matched.

Project Process

This customer had previously asked multiple suppliers to develop clothing display rack products, but none of them met the customer's expectations. So send us this sample order.
The redesign of the hook is the difficult point of this project. It is easy to change the appearance and structure, but it is difficult to evaluate the stability of the overall structure.
We have more than 20 years of design experience and design database. After discussions between our engineers and designers, we decided to apply the display rack hook fixing method to this product.
As shown, this wavy sheet metal is a commonly used structure on display rack hooks. Display rack hooks are extremely stable and mature solutions, which can solve the pain points of this project very well.

Result

Customers have accepted this design and are still testing it internally. I believe the first order will be placed soon.
